Wheels Needed for 1969 MGB GT?

As the title says, does anyone know what size tyres I need for a 1969 MGB GT? When I put my registration into various sites such as the reg finder on this one https://www.asdatyres.co.uk/ nothing shows up as it is a very old car. Does anyone have any advice? I would very much so appreciate any advic...

Re: Best place to find a battery for an MGB GT

It's a shame no one saw this! I hope this doesn't reflect the enthusiasm around MGB GTs though! I ended up buying my battery from the rac shop in the end, had no idea they even had a shop. https://www.racshop.co.uk/bosch-s4-battery-155-45ah-330cca-l238-x-w129-x-h225-13.html Just thought I'd include ...

Best place to find a battery for an MGB GT

My father and I and our GT project is most certainly underway :P

Any suggestions for any car parts whatsoever for a '69 MGB GT? Also looking for a good price on batteries too, any help would be massively massively appreciated.

Thanks guys have a great weekend .

Re: Terrible shudder and clunking!!

Does the car shudder/clunk at specific times? i.e when accelerating, cornering, etc or is it just all the time when you're driving?

This could have something to do with the actual transmission of the car - have you had a look at the u-joint?

Re: Classic MG advise

My thoughts are with you and your family.

This is certainly a nice little piece of history you have hidden away in your garage here. I can't offer much advice on this but I do hope you can find this motor a suitable new home and make someone else happy with it.

All the best,

Kai

Re: Anyone recently acquired a MGBGT?

Hi there. Yes, last October I bought a 1972 MGBGT on ebay. It was a non runner, no MOT and had been stored for a few years. Had it trailered down, put in a new battery, new plugs and leads and fitted a choke cable which was missing and lo and behold it started. I thought I would put it in for a qui...

Re: Looking for mgb gt

It'll likely be a tough ride trying to source one for 250 or less, have you checked everywhere on the internet? I've read that another user on here, Heironymous, acquired a 1972 mgb gt from eBay for just £1700. This is the link to the thread it was on: http://www.mgcarforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=25&...

Re: The new mgzs

Hey there bud, Can't really speak for myself on this one but the missus got herself a 17 plate zs a few months ago and she loves it. Delivers a cracking drive to be honest, and cheaper than a lot of other SUVs that size. There's quite a few unfair reviews of them online, I'd suggest if you're lookin...

Re: Anyone recently acquired a MGBGT?

Hey there! Just wondering - did you ever get round to starting/finishing this little project? If so I'd love to see some pictures!!
Considering doing something similar myself....

Re: MGBGT Dash Removal

It's a shame no one bothered to reply to this! Did you eventually end up changing the dash?

I would've suggested looking to YouTube if you haven't already - maybe post a video for us as and when you're done!
