Hi I seem to have read somewhere that you have a resistor in the wire to your coil and you should be using a 9v coil. I have read several accounts of speedos giving unsteady readings with many explainations. Here is my recent experience:- speedo wavering intermittantly, sometimes noisy. Then it stopped altogether. Collecting becomes bit of a habit I still always look at what is for sale and have to resist buying. The Tf only arrived at the expense of an MG ZR. The only way I can keep them is by hiring them out it pays for their keep but not enough to pay for restoring them!! I really want an MGC and V8 to mak...
