Hi I'm really new to all this so apologies if this is obvious. My mgb roadster wouldn't start I had new point, plugs etc fitted and it started. After going for a ride it seemed like it just cut out st the traffic lights and wouldn't start? I was told by previous owner to waggle fues's and wiring near it, I did this couple of times and it started, I replaced the fuse box and it started and then after waggling wires it cut out and there is no fuel in the glass container near the carbs? I can hear pump working but still won't start? Any help would be appreciated?

Check your wires attached to the coil.
On an old Land Rover I once had this same problem which I ended up finding was a bad spade terminal on the coil. I cut the old spade connector off, stripped back the wire and put a fresh one on. This fixed the issue...
It's a good idea to get a multimeter too, that way when the car dies and won't start you can see which connector isn't getting current. Best of luck and anyone with any other ideas please feel free to add advice!
