hi,please forgive me my ignorance as im new to mgbs and useing a forum. ive recenly bought an mgb roadster 1971. i cant stop the twin su carbs from overflowing the fuel. ive cleaned out the float valves to no avail . any thoughts guys? also maybe can anybody suggest or even sell me a replacement . cheers paintmemore

May be worth replacing the floats. Mine did this once when the floats had a crack in one of them, it wasn't noticebale on cleaning them but enough to cause a problem! :P

I had the the same with mine I just adjusted the float level by slightly bending the spring lever on the float and it solved the problem
