Gearbox oil (for Laycock O/D 'box)

I see the spec for the 'box is the same as the engine - namely 20W/50.

Has anyone used the Millers Classic MINI oil - which claims to be designed for engine applications which share oil with the 'box and therefore appears a better choice for the MGB O/D gearbox?

Oil Filter

Looking for views on the best oil filter to use on an unmodified 28,000mile 1980 Roadster. I see MANN filters seem well though if? Appear to have a good filtration and shut-off valve. Curiously US MG sites recommend W917 (85mm high, 1.1bar bypass valve) whereas it looks like W916 (95mm, 0.9 bar bypa...
