Even though the speedometer is inaccurate, let's say 60 mph instead of 100 kph. 30 divided by 50 equals 50. Google Maps in CarPlay is my go-to; it shows both the real (and more accurate) speed (as measured by GPS) and the app's estimation of the speed limit.
