The ambient lighting seems to be malfunctioning, at least to me. 2016 Mercedes-AMG W205

Good day,
The build sheet for my AMG line waggon, which I just got in March, states that it has ambient lighting. Can you confirm this? (If I had it, I wouldn't be too concerned, but I'm not.)
It says "611 - ambient lighting" on the document.
Nevertheless, I am unable to locate an option to activate it on the screen.

Is what this means
The lights are there, but the original purchaser didn't foot the bill for them?
Is there a mistake on the sheet?
Has the fuse blown?
Is the system shaky now?
Is my assumption incorrect?

Good day. To access ambient lighting, go to Vehicle Settings, which is located in the COMAND menu. If the lightning strips have been physically attached, you should be able to see one above the door handle, under the front door trim panel (where the speaker is). Looking up will reveal it. You can see this one, but there are others.

I checked the spec sheet using my VIN and it says it's there, even though I didn't think I had it.

The "front and rear door courtesy lights" (option 611), located near the bottom of the door panels, are visible.
The three-color ambient lighting in the door cards and dashboard of a 2016 car is Code 877. Vehicles manufactured after 2017 are eligible for this code's lighting upgrade to basic 64 colours.
Option code 891 adds climate controlled colour shifting, such as the lights turning red when the temperature is raised and blue when it is lowered, to full Premium 64 colour ambient lighting in 2017> vehicles.

This is not ambient lighting; I apologise, Dave. It's ambient illumination.
